Wildlife survey

Three years ago, we set up a Facebook page for members of the public to record any wildlife sightings in the Kyles of Bute and Loch Ridden.

Now the group has some professional divers as members and we are about to start using an underwater drone to map the marine flora and fauna. Any information that we find will be passed to NatureScot and we hope to exhibit our findings locally for the benefit of the community and the local primary school.

Anyone willing to participate in this project, either by sending in their own data (photo and GPS of where seen), or by the loan of a boat or equipment, please get in touch.
